Terms of service
Last updated: September 2026. By creating an account or using Lopingo, you agree to these terms.
The service
Lopingo provides HTTP uptime checks, a dashboard, and alerts on a best-effort basis. A free trial may be offered; after trial or unpaid status, monitoring may pause while read-only access can remain, as described in the product.
Your responsibilities
- Provide accurate account information and keep credentials safe.
- Only monitor URLs you are authorized to check.
- Do not abuse the service (scanning, flooding, circumventing limits, attacking others).
- Comply with applicable law.
Acceptable use
We may suspend or terminate accounts that threaten the platform, other customers, or third parties (including SSRF attempts, credential stuffing, or quota abuse).
Plans & billing
Paid plans are billed via Stripe. Fees, quotas, and grace periods are shown in the product / pricing page. Taxes may apply. Failed payment can suspend active checks after any stated grace period.
Disclaimer
Monitoring depends on networks you do not control. We do not guarantee uninterrupted service, zero false positives/negatives, or that every outage will be detected or alerted in time. The service is provided “as is” to the fullest extent permitted by law.
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Lopingo is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for losses arising from downtime of your sites, missed alerts, or data loss beyond restoring available backups we choose to keep. Aggregate liability for paid customers is limited to fees paid for the service in the three months before the claim.
Account deletion
You may delete your account from Settings. Deletion removes associated monitoring data from our primary systems subject to legal retention where required.
Changes
We may update these terms. Material changes will be reflected by the date above; continued use constitutes acceptance where permitted.
Governing law
Unless mandatory consumer law says otherwise, these terms are governed by the laws of France, with courts of competent jurisdiction there.
